Welcome! On this site you will find information about my research, collaborators and current projects.
I completed my Bachelors in Psychology in 2006 at the University of Groningen. I then completed my Masters in Psychology (cum laude) in 2008 at the VU University of Amsterdam. During my Masters I did an internship with Professor R.J. McNally and Dr. E. Geraerts at Harvard University (Cambridge MA, USA) were I studied negative autobiographical memory and risk-factors of post traumatic stress disorder in women with a history of childhood sexual abuse.
In 2008, I started my PhD project at Leiden University. For this project, I focus on the cognitive, neurobiological and behavioral consequences of childhood emotional maltreatment.
